Caviar from Lofoten

Finally, a caviar from Lofoten! Now the new Lofoten Klassisk Kaviar is being launched, a classic cream caviar made with roe from the Norwegian Skrei, for the best taste. Skrei is the name for the best kind of cod, caught only between January and March when the quality of the meat is at its peak. Ingredients:

Sugar-salted and smoked roe from Skrei (Gadus morhua) (50%), rapeseed oil, sugar, water, potato flakes, preservative (sodium benzoate), salt, vinegar, antioxidant (ascorbic acid, citric acid), coloring (carmines, beta-apo-8′- carotenal). Catch area: Northeast Atlantic Ocean.
